Here's a few ads I'm liking at the moment!
The first ad has been around for a while but I thought I'd put it up because I bloody love it!!!!!
Its triple velvet Baby MD!!!! This ad is great, I love it just for the subtle touches that just bring a smile to my face. This ad has 5 lovely touches! The first is "without trees birds have nowhere to ......land" great comedy pause. 2: Whats donkey doing there? 3: The small umbrella for baby MD. 4: the fall off the podium and finally the water pouring! All its needs is a look to camera at the end from baby MD and it would be perfect!
The next one isn't a great ad over all, I get what they're trying to do but I'm not won over! It's like if McDonald's said all our meat is organic, it still wouldn't make me want to go there and this ad doesn't make me want a Ginsters any more than before, even if they do keep a close eye on their ingredients! However it does have a great moment and that moment is the cows!!
Moving onto people I want punch! This week the award goes to this ad dad! (sorry i don't think the link works!)

There's also an ad for north west markets! Its bad. But the girly laugh at the end makes it worse!!!! (I can't find it as its a regional ad but hopefully I'll find it somewhere online soon!)

The worst ads
Well this is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand its absolutely rubbish! The dubbing is rubbish, the voices are unbelievable, there's a slight "package" shot (which is extremely disturbing! no one wants to see a crotch shot on tv even if it is computer generated!), all round its generally rubbish! But on the other hand the kid is hilarious "Mr Muscle!" It isn't on YouTube so you can see it here (its worth it!)
All sofas ads are terrible and the new csl sofa ads is no different! Its so new that it isn't online apart from on the actually website. You can check it out here. Its the stupid i robot inspired nonsense!
The Baby MD is a wise toddler. I want to see him take Sir Alan's job and title and beard.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the CLS Robot will be able to calculate how sofa company's can afford to always be having a 'Sale'. Surely, that's crazy economics. I better go and buy a new couch, and invest in some Cheeky Bingo, it's FREE apparently
