I have been a bit slow on the old blog of late, I don't know why maybe it seems less attractive when the weather is nice! Maybe I just lost some motivation for it! Hopefully this post will spur me on and reinvigorate my blogging efforts. So to kick off this new motivated period I'll start with a cancer story but one with a unusual twist! Firstly the cancer part. "Vegetarians less likely to develop cancer than meat eaters, says study". So there you have it, if you want to reduce your risk of cancer, particularly blood cancer, then go veggie! Where this story slightly differs from others is that it doesn't suggest that this is proven, in fact saying that "Scientists acknowledge more research still needed". Usually these reports spout out these studies like they are 100% proven (maybe its because I usually read these reports in rags like the metro and mirror), I'm reminded of the MMR media coverage where one report by a dodgy doc was spouted out by the media like it was fact and many others showing totally different results basically ignored, causing hysteria amongst parents across the country. But having now seen an unbiased article about cancer and what does/does not cause it I think I like the sensational ones better, I mean wheres the fun in a none sensational cancer story, there isn't any!
